Great home base for Mount Washington
My family of four (two kids and my partner) stayed here for Spring break and it was a wonderful little spot for your mount washington home base. The place is on the smaller side, but it is probably one of the best stocked rentals you can find. From the kitchen, to the toys for kids, the place is stocked incredibly well. It is also located only a block from the very cute Cumberland main strip, which is amazing. Overall the place is perfect for a family looking to have a place to stay for a ski trip to mount washington! Had a great time!
Very Comfortable and Quiet!
The location of the guesthouse is ideal, within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants but on a quiet side street. We stayed in Suite E which is spacious and bright and can accommodate a family comfortably. Everything is very clean and well-organized and there are excellent black-out blinds in the bedrooms. Mario and Sabrina are great hosts!
Comfortable and clean, nicely located place to stay!
Myself, my sister and our teenaged daugthers came from Alberta to visit family on the island. Your location was perfect for us! Within walking distance to local coffee shops and restaurants, as well as to biking and walking trails. We will certainly look to stay again on our next visit!

About host
Hello and Welcome! We are excited to be part of this community and help people feel right at home. Sabrina grew up in Cumberland and the Comox Valley and Mario grew up in the Kootenays. They met in Victoria and decided to buy their first home and move to Cumberland in 2010. Sabrina is a special education teacher and Mario is a cabinetmaker and works for the United Riders of Cumberland (UROC) as one of the Trail Maintenance Crew. We both enjoy the outdoors and live an active lifestyle. We feel that Cumberland is a fantastic place to visit and play and are excited for you to enjoy some time here. We also enjoy renovating homes, meeting new people, and traveling so owning and running a Guesthouse felt like a perfect fit. We hope to provide our guests with the best experience possible.
