Comfy Stay
We were lucky to find this cute and comfy suite when visiting Cumberland this Feb. The communication with Sabrina was easy and we enjoyed 5 days in this very well appointed suite . We hope to be back in the very near future and take advantage of one of the larger suites Thank you Sabrina Jo and Jim

We have stayed at the guest house a few times in the larger suite. The location is a great place for a family holiday. Close to restaurants and a large community park with many outdoor activities for children. The mountain biking is amazing. There is hiking, beaches, parks and kayaking throughout the Comox valley which is all very close. The suite is very clean and has all of the amenities. It is nice to have a dining room, a separate gated front yard, a living room, large kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and laundry area. The owners are very responsive, friendly and helpful.
Studio D is fresh and has been beautifully renovated!
We’ve stayed at this Guesthouse on several occasions over the years. It is perfectly located near Main Street and walking distance to all the restaurants, stores, and only a few blocks away from walking and biking trails. The Guesthouse is under new ownership, and they’ve made great improvements to this unit. It is modern and clean and well appointed. Studio D is the smallest of their units but was suitable to our needs. It lacks a kitchen sink, but everything else is provided (i.e. cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses, dishwashing rags, soap, drying rack, coffee machine with coffee choices, kettle and tea selections, microwave and a small fridge with freezer) and guests have access to a communal BBQ. The bathroom is generously stocked with quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and fluffy bath and beach towels. Locked bike storage is available. We’ve made use of the lawn chairs right outside this unit and enjoyed an evening snack on the pleasant patio which is available to all guests. The check-in process was easy and well communicated, and the owners are super friendly and attentive. Thanks Sabrina and Mario! We’ll be staying there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at your guesthouse. The studio was so new, clean and all our needs were met. We loved the garden area to relax and to be able to step right outside was perfect. Everyone was friendly , helpful and our stay was perfect. It was nice to have the basic kitchen , amenities, teas and coffee machine. Nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. Everything you need was supplied and bike storage. We would definitely come again . Thank you for your lovely character guesthouse.
Studio D -Exceeded our expectations
We were very lucky to be the first guests staying in studio D after the renovations and under the new ownership. The place and customer service exceed our expectations. The reservation was easy and the owner communicated all the check- in details via email. Seems like the unit has been fully gutted and renovated, and not just fresh decor which is very lovely, modern and practical. There is no sink but everything else is available i.e. cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses, dishwashing rags, soap, and drying rack. Also, a nice coffee machine, with coffee choices, very cool kettle, and tea selections to get us going in the morning, also a microwave and a small fridge with freezer. The bathroom has large bottles of soap gel, shampoo and conditioner. We appreciated the bike storage and bike wash station. During our 5 days stay, we run into both owners and had a nice chat (with 2 feet distance) about the area and bike trails. Both owners are very personable and made sure that our stay is comfortable and that we had everything we needed. This is our 3rd time in Cumberland and we will be happy to stay here again. I wish the owners all the best!

Hello and Welcome! We are excited to be part of this community and help people feel right at home. Sabrina grew up in Cumberland and the Comox Valley and Mario grew up in the Kootenays. They met in Victoria and decided to buy their first home and move to Cumberland in 2010. Sabrina is a special education teacher and Mario is a cabinetmaker and works for the United Riders of Cumberland (UROC) as one of the Trail Maintenance Crew. We both enjoy the outdoors and live an active lifestyle. We feel that Cumberland is a fantastic place to visit and play and are excited for you to enjoy some time here. We also enjoy renovating homes, meeting new people, and traveling so owning and running a Guesthouse felt like a perfect fit. We hope to provide our guests with the best experience possible.
