Best short-term rental we've had in years!
My wife, daughter, and I stayed in Suite E at the Cumberland Guesthouse for a 4 night mountain biking vacation. The suite is very large, clean, bright, and super well equipped. The kitchen has every necessary item and there's plenty of bed linen and towels for a bigger family than ours. The air-conditioning was great, given that the weather was hot during our stay. The secure bike storage, garden, barbeque, and outdoor spaces are pleasant and well cared for and greatly increased our enjoyment of the rental. The Cumberland Guesthouse is a 3 minute walk from downtown Cumberland, so heading out for a coffee, meal, or to stroll through the town is easy. The location is also about a 5 minute ride from the mountain biking trail network, so super convenient. We will definitely stay at the Cumberland Guesthouse again! Thanks, Sabrina and Mario!

Hello and Welcome! We are excited to be part of this community and help people feel right at home. Sabrina grew up in Cumberland and the Comox Valley and Mario grew up in the Kootenays. They met in Victoria and decided to buy their first home and move to Cumberland in 2010. Sabrina is a special education teacher and Mario is a cabinetmaker and works for the United Riders of Cumberland (UROC) as one of the Trail Maintenance Crew. We both enjoy the outdoors and live an active lifestyle. We feel that Cumberland is a fantastic place to visit and play and are excited for you to enjoy some time here. We also enjoy renovating homes, meeting new people, and traveling so owning and running a Guesthouse felt like a perfect fit. We hope to provide our guests with the best experience possible.
